Once we removed the weird wall / entry to the kitchen and old standard pantry where the refrigerator is now AND we stole a few feet of depth from an office closet that is behind the new current pantry - look at the way the new kitchen and family room flow! These changes made a significant difference in the new open flow that works perfectly for this family of 4 in Keller.
What a difference enclosing an open porch can make! Once we bumped out the old kitchen and family room, we had so much room to create the perfect open floor plan. Adding color to the cabinets was such a welcome change and the new furniture added to the charm of this Grapevine home.
This Keller family wanted an open kitchen with a big island that leaned contemporary and that is exactly what we gave them. We added a beam that opened up the space between the kitchen and family room. Adding the quartz counters and the waterfall edges completed the modern look.
This kitchen and family room belongs to one of my favorite Southlake long time clients. A fairly large family - 4 kids plus 2 dogs and a cat - they really wanted an open floor plan. Again we added a beam to open up the space, new custom cabinets and a huge navy island with dolomite counters completes the timeless look. And don't forget the hidden pantry!!!
This Southlake kitchen started out just fine but we made it a whole lot better. Knocked down the bar height, new kitchen cabinets on the perimeter - but we left the original island and hood just tweaked them a bit and changed the color. The results are a stunning kitchen and family room that the clients love.
These Southlake clients wanted an open plan farmhouse kitchen and we had so much fun creating this space. Behind the screen door is part of an old office we converted to a gorgeous walk in pantry. The antique brick adds to the charm as do the shelves. The custom cabinets and island complete the look!
Once again we had to knock down a wall to open up the kitchen and boy was it worth it! This glamorous kitchen is not only stunning to look at but it works perfectly for this Southlake family.
This kitchen had a peninsula and bar like so many other Southlake homes. With a few tweaks to walls we were able to open it up, add a large island and the barn wood hood and barn door hint at rustic while the kitchen and family room overall feel is warm transitional. And the island is absolutely stunning!
With an all new layout, new cabinets and a custom built in, this Keller home showcases the clients love of color and warmth. The two toned cabinets keep it light and airy with 9 foot ceilings but feel warm and elegant. We said good bye to a late 90's bad layout and hello to a warm, timeless space.
